Brexitcast is a British political talk show and television programme produced by BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC News. It was launched on 5 June 2017 following the success of Electioncast, a podcast that had covered that year's general election.
History. Originally launched as an audio podcast in 2017 to cover that year's general election and titled Electioncast, it was subsequently renamed Brexitcast. Its first televised edition was transmitted in September 2019, and it was relaunched in its current format in February 2020.
He focused on EU politics and particularly Brexit, establishing the podcast Brexitcast with political correspondent Chris Mason, political editor Laura Kuenssberg and Europe editor Katya Adler. He began presenting Newscast after Brexitcast came to an end, and was replaced as Brussels correspondent by Nick Beake in summer 2020.
Brexitcast and radio. In June 2017, he began presenting the podcast Brexitcast (now known as Newscast) with Adam Fleming and was later joined by Laura Kuenssberg and Katya Adler. The podcast covered the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union from Brussels and London.
